You must wait for your avatar/signature. Don't yell at people for taking long for your avatar/signature. They have a lot of work to do and they are busy.
There is a separate thread, "Show off your art!". What you do there is you show all your artwork that you've done for yourself and others
You can ask others to take a picture if you don't know how. But, you can ONLY ask in a chatbox or a PM.
For example:
I would like a beam.
Picture: I don't know how to take a picture so lets meet up the chatbox!

And the whole conversation goes in the chatbox or in Bearville. I do not wanna see "Im in bearville! Where are you?" Or such. That tells me you are not meeting up in the chatbox or in PM.
Most importantly, Don't steal others work, it must be your own work and creations.
No hotlinks, upload your file to a image hosting site such as Tinypic or Image shack.
If a signature is from a site, like glittertext.com, don't say "You didn't do anything, that is from a site" AT LEAST THE PERSON DID SOMETHING FOR YOU.
